On Tuesday, South Padre Island Mayor Robert Pinkerton Jr. reported that the search for a new city manager is still ongoing and that officials will soon finalize a roster of candidates.
“We have 63 total applicants and the list has not yet been narrowed down yet,” he said. “We are in the process of doing that.”
